IHRF and The American Academy of Neurology
IHRF To Attend American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting, April 27-30, 2009
April 2009—IHRF will be among the non-profit organizations represented at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) 61st annual meeting, which will be held in Seattle, Washington, April 25- May 2.
IHRF will staff a table during the week (April 27-30), and will offer information about our organization; the IH Registry and Neuro-Imaging Library; partnerships with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and the National Disease and Research Institutes (NDRI); and other research projects and goals. This will be the second time IHRF has attended an AAN annual meeting.
“Increasing visibility of IH at an event like the AAN meeting, helps draw in both the researchers and clinicians, who we want to become involved with our organization and mission,“said Dr. Emanuel Tanne, IHRF’s co-founder and president.
More than 21,000 neurologists and neuroscience professionals belong to the American Academy of Neurology. Thousands of its members from all over the world are expected to attend the April meeting.
